Available Sign in Methods
Attendees can sign in to their existing Microsoft Ignite record using one of the methods below. You will use these credentials to access your registration record, the session scheduler, and event content.
Microsoft
- Work or School Account: Sign in using your corporate or academic Office 365 credentials by selecting the "Work or school account" option.
- Note: Certain admin permissions within your organization's Office 365 account must be set to sign in using this method.
- Microsoft account: This is a combination of an email alias and password used for services such as Outlook, Windows, or Skype. To use this method, select the "Microsoft account" button on the sign-in page. For more information, or to create a Microsoft account, visit the Microsoft account website.
- Note: A Microsoft account should be a personal email address; work or school emails using Office 365 cannot be used as a Microsoft account.
- Microsoft Employee (corporate domain credentials): Microsoft employees can sign in using their Microsoft domain email address by selecting the "Microsoft employee" button on the sign-in page.
GitHub
Sign in with the same credentials used for your GitHub account by selecting the "GitHub" button on the sign-in page. For more information, or to create a new GitHub account, visit the GitHub website.
Sign in with the same credentials used for your LinkedIn account by selecting the "LinkedIn" button on the sign-in page. For more information, or to create a new LinkedIn account, visit the LinkedIn website.
Username and Password
Register using a Microsoft event-specific username and password. To use this option, you will enter your email and password directly on the registration website. You are able to create a new username by selecting "Or, create a new account" and can reset your password on an existing account by selecting "Forgot your password".
